Pasta Rosé

Quick and dirty. High in protein. And most important: fully vegan!

Pasta Rosé

Ingredients:

Yellow Onion

Garlic Cloves

1 dash

Soy Sauce

1 can

Diced Tomatoes

2 tbsp

Hummus

2 tbsp

Cashew Butter

1 dash

Orange Flavor (alternatively Orange Cest)

250 g

Pasta

1 tbsp

Vegetable Oil

100 ml

Vegetable Broth

0.25 tsp

Cayenne Pepper

0.25 tsp

Black Pepper

Instruction:

Bring water for the pasta to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente.
Mince the onion and the garlic.
Heat a pan and add vegetable oil, minced onion and garlic. Fry until the onions become translucent.
Add a dash of soy sauce to the pan. Stir.
Add the diced tomatoes before the soy sauce is completely evaporated.
Add the vegetable broth.
Add hummus and cashew butter. Stir until distributed evenly.
Add the orange flavor (or orange cest).
Add cayenne pepper and black pepper.
Drain the pasta and mix them in the sauce.
If you feel fancy, feel free to garnish with basil.
